Something happened. You made sense of it the only way you could at the time, and that sense became the lens everything since has passed through. One free hour on how that filter forms, why arguing with it doesn’t work, and where the chain that built it can still be interrupted.
If you took the Formation Snapshot and noticed the same pattern showing up under more than one domain, how you see God, how you see yourself, how you read other people, this is the workshop that goes with that pattern. Not because you’re not trying hard enough, but because the filter formed underneath the trying, and effort doesn’t reach it.
Most people try to argue their way past a belief like this. They find the right verse, build the right case, and still feel the same thing the next time it’s tested. That’s because a filter isn’t a thought you’re having. It’s the thing deciding which thoughts feel true before you’ve had a chance to weigh them.
This hour walks the whole chain in order, out loud, with room to see your own version of it.
1 · The experience. Something happens. Often smaller than you’d expect, and often a long time ago.
2 · The meaning. You answer the question “what does this mean” in whatever way made the pain make sense at the time.
3 · The decision. You decide something is true, about God, about yourself, or about what to expect from people.
4 · The belief. The decision hardens. It stops feeling like something you concluded and starts feeling like something you’ve always known.
5 · The filter. From here on it isn’t one belief among many. It’s what everything else gets read through, and it edits what you notice before you’re aware you’re noticing.
Everyone’s runs on the same chain, but what’s underneath it is personal. You leave with yours written down in your own words, which is most of the work.
A filter with no known origin just feels like how things are. Traced back to an actual moment, it becomes something that happened once and got mistaken for a permanent lens.
The experience already happened, and that part doesn’t move. The meaning you made of it did not have to be the only reading available, and it is not too late to look at it again.
Before you leave. Saying it in the room first is what makes it available to you later, when it is not a workshop, just a Tuesday.
Free, one hour, on Zoom. If nothing is listed yet, the workshop calendar has every date as it goes up.
This workshop names the filter. Naming is real work and it already loosens its grip, but naming is not the same as replacing.
Tonight you did this once, for one filter. You’ve got more than one running your life, and one hour builds one rep, not a new pathway. That takes repetition, which is exactly what a single workshop can’t give you.
The Breaking Free Group Intensive is where that repetition happens: eight live weeks, walking this same work with Chariti and a small group, filter after filter, until it’s not a technique you’re performing, it’s just how you respond. If you’d rather see the whole path first, from the free assessment to the self-paced course, that’s all laid out in one place.
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or crisis intervention, and a free workshop is none of those either. What an hour can do is give you language and show you the shape of the thing. If you’re in crisis right now, call or text 988.
