Speaking

She doesn’t speak about marriagegrieflifemarriage from a distance.

Chariti lost two of her sons. What she brings to a room is not a talk about hard seasons, it is what she found in one, held together with the grief science and the Scripture that actually stood up under the weight.

What She Brings

Honest about pain. Rooted in hope.

Most talks on suffering pick a side. They are either warm and unserious, or rigorous and cold. Chariti’s hold both: the neuroscience of what loss does to a brain and a body, and the goodness of God, in the same room, without either one apologizing for the other.

She is comfortable with a congregation, a staff team, a retreat circle, or a microphone in someone else’s podcast studio. What she will not do is tidy the story up so it lands more smoothly.

Grief given a voice before God is not weak faith. It’s honest faith.

Topics

What she speaks on.

Each topic runs a set length, listed below. Tell us the room and we will shape the material to fit it.

Grief

Grief and Faith Are Not Opposites

One session

Why lament belongs in the sanctuary, what the brain is actually doing in grief, and how a congregation can stop accidentally rushing its grieving people.

Identity

The Lies Pain Writes

Four sessions

How a painful moment quietly becomes a rule about who you are, the five patterns those lies take, and what it takes to replace one rather than argue with it.

The Better Question

What Happened to You?

One session

Why “What’s wrong with me?” leads almost exclusively to shame, and what changes in a room when the question changes.

Marriage

You’re Not Bad at Marriage

Two sessions

Flooding, the pursuer and withdrawer cycle, and unfinished repair. Practical enough that couples leave with something to do on Tuesday.

Formation

Beauty for Ashes

Four sessions

Isaiah 61 as an actual process rather than a comfort: healing as the doorway, restoration as the destination, and joy as what grows there.

For Leaders

Caring for the Grieving Without Fixing Them

One session

For pastors, staff teams, and care volunteers. What to say, what to stop saying, and how to hold a room without needing to resolve it.

Chariti requires three months’ notice for in-person speaking engagements. Remote invitations such as podcasts, interviews, and online sessions do not need that lead time.

Formats

Rooms she’s at home in.

Sunday mornings

One message, or a series across several weeks, in person or by video.

Retreats

A half day, a full day, or a weekend track, with the practices built in rather than bolted on.

Conferences

Keynote or breakout, with handouts your attendees will actually keep.

Staff and leadership teams

Training for the people who get the phone call first.

Podcasts and interviews

Remote or in studio. She is an easy guest and a candid one.

Workshops

The Joy Restored material, taught live for your people rather than sold to them.

Joy Restored Invite Chariti

Tell us about the room.

The more you can say about who will be there and what they are carrying, the better the session will fit. A real person reads every message.

Please send your invitation early. Chariti needs a minimum of 60 days to prayerfully consider it with the Joy Restored team, and three months’ notice is required for in-person speaking engagements. That lead time does not apply to remote invitations such as podcasts, interviews, and online sessions.

Bring her to your people.

Or listen first, the podcast is the fastest way to hear how she handles a hard subject.
